A multi-location

fundraising event!

The STAY FUNDRAISER was born from a deeply empathetic approach to suicide prevention and mental health support, inspired by the simplicity and effectiveness of the dog command "stay."

Just as this command encourages a dog to remain present and grounded, the STAY initiative uses this familiar phrase as a powerful, symbolic message to individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts. The idea is that the command "stay" serves as a gentle, but urgent reminder to hold on and persevere through their pain. This fundraiser aims to create a sense of connection and hope by emphasizing the importance of staying engaged with life and seeking help.

Along with the Clinton County Coalition for Suicide Prevention, the STAY FUNDRAISER provides vital resources, counseling, and support to those in need, reinforcing the message that they are not alone and that their lives are valuable.

Pets can play a crucial role in providing
hope and support

Pets offer unconditional love, companionship, and a unique form of emotional connection that can be incredibly grounding during times of distress. Their daily needs, such as feeding, exercise, and care, create a sense of responsibility and routine that can offer a sense of purpose and structure. Additionally, the bond with a pet often provides comfort and emotional solace, reminding you that your presence has a meaningful impact on another living being. By focusing on the well-being of your pet, you may find renewed strength and motivation to seek help and explore ways to improve your own situation, ultimately valuing the positive impact you have on their life as well as your own.
